When starting an online it can be easy to get engrossed in learning, trying new ways to build a successful business. There can be a lot of distractions, you might be thinking can I run my business this way, what about promoting this product. What about affiliate marketing or digital products.

You could be deciding on what platform to promote your business on. When starting out it can get disheartening if you don’t start to see progress then you might find you want to bounce between social media platforms, or trying adverts or some other way to build your business.

Having focus, taking time out

In the competitive world of entrepreneurship, it's easy to get caught up in the constant hustle and lose sight of taking care of oneself. Recognizing the signs of burnout and implementing strategies to prevent it is crucial for long-term success.

Having focus and analyzing your progress can be important. There can be many ways to do this, one way is with manifestation so before you even start your business work out your plan. If something isn’t working give it a set time frame then go on to step 2 of your plan so there is plan in place and not confusion to work on getting the results you are looking for.

Self care is important and utilizing your time effectively is even more important if you are trying to build an online business so you have time to work on yourself, take time out and prevent burnout. So many ways to drive traffic

There are many online platforms and ways to drive traffic to your business. Some types of content will have a shorter life time and some can potentially drive traffic for years to come.

Some of the platforms that have a shorted life time are, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok. One thing about TikTok is that the content does some times show on Google search results which can open up another source of traffic via your TikTok.

Some platforms that have a longer life time are, YouTube, Pinterest, Google. These are search platforms more than social media platforms, YouTube and Pinterest have elements of social media.

It’s worth considering the life time of your content as your content could be driving traffic for a long time after you’ve posted it depending on the platform you’ve chosen, which mean’s less time you have to create new content. It also works in a way to create passive income if you pair your traffic with automated systems like email marketing, digital products which can be more of a stand off way to run a business.

One of the best places I’ve got leads and made commissions from my business is through the leads I’ve got from using Pinterest. What is great about Pinterest is that it can be faceless, each piece of content on Pinterest can be linked to your product, further information like a blog post or to a lead capture form which is why it’s great for driving traffic to your business.

Other ways to create leads for your business are utilizing events, contacting people who potentially might be interested in your business.

Saying no

Setting boundaries so you keep your business and personal life separate so you spend your spare time doing things that give you energy can help reduce burnout.

Taking breaks

It can be easy to keep pushing through trying to get one more task done but taking breaks can help you think clearer. One way to do this is to set certain time frames for working and taking breaks, either going for a walk. Sitting and reading a book.

Outsource your work

If possible if the work load is getting too much consider out sourcing your work, this can take the pressure of you but also may potentially help your business be more successful as you won’t be pulled in multiply directions trying to get all the tasks done.
